Byron T. Carter is the son of Angela and the Late Darrick Carter. He grew up in Fayetteville NC and attended and graduated from Grays Creek High School. After graduation he accepted a full Army ROTC scholarship to attend Thee Saint Augustine’s College. At Saint Augustine’s College he was a part of numerous leadership roles, one being a Student Leader on Campus and a Leader to fellow Cadets in the Army ROTC Program. He is also a member of the Gamma Psi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. After graduating from Saint Augustines College he accepted his commission as an Army Officer in the United States Army where he faithfully served and was honorably discharged after 6 years. He currently works for the Social Security Administration, and lives in Clayton NC.

Byron along with his twin Brother Bryan are the oldest of 2 siblings, Danielle and DJ Carter. In his spare time he loves to cook and bake desserts and also spending time with family.
