GBI Announces Promotion of Schaccoa Hoover to CJIS Analyst Supervisor
Decatur, GA (August 11, 2021) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announces the promotion of Schaccoa Hoover to Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Analyst Supervisor in the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) at GBI Headquarters. Ms. Hoover will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the CJIS Analyst team during their daily system operations of the Georgia Protective Order Registry, CJIS On-line Validations System, Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR), and other CJIS network services provided by the Georgia Crime Information Center.
Ms. Hoover began her career with the GBI in 2015 in GCIC, Applicant Services as a CJIS Specialist. Ms. Hoover was promoted to CJIS Analyst in 2017 and was a part of the CJIS analyst team that was instrumental in developing, implementing, and training law enforcement agencies on Georgia’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) portal as Georgia transitioned to strictly NIBRS data submissions to the FBI.
Ms. Hoover began her career in law enforcement in 2012 with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, where she worked as a Fingerprint Identification Technician.
Ms. Hoover received her Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science from Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, and currently resides in the City of Atlanta.
