Monique Junious, Class of 2005
Monique Junious obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology while attending St. Augustine’s University. She graduated in 2005 with a BA (Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology, and also was a student athlete as she ran on the universities track team.
Monique has also attended Lehman College where she obtained her master’s degree in Social Work and Graduated in 2011.
Monique has worked at the Administration for Children’s Services for 15 years. She is currently a CPM-Child Protective Manager (Director of field operations) for the agency. As a part of working with the Administration for Children Services, their mission is to protect and promote the safety and well-being of New York City children, young people, families, and communities.
Monique is Licensed Social Worker (LMSW), who is currently a field instructor in which she provides supervision and mentorship to students who are obtaining their BSW or MSW in social work. She has facilitated multiple volunteer base programs, hosted by ACS to support the community.
In 2019, she founded Youth Talks, to support the parent child relationship within her community. She is passionate about diversity, advocacy, inclusion, supporting unity and child safety.
