On Friday, February 18, 2022, my name was placed in Maryland Governor Larry Hogans 2022 Green Bag of Appointments, to serve on the state of Maryland’s Parole Commission.  I have served as a Juvenile probation/parole officer for the City of Alexandria, VA for the past 30 years, and will retire this spring to accept the six-year appointment to the Maryland Parole Commission.  Additionally, I currently serve on the Prince George’s County, Maryland’s Commission on Fathers, Men, and Boys. Lastly, I am also a visionary author of two best-selling books, Mind over Matter, and Fathers Matter, Changing the Narrative on Black Fathers.  Both can be found at anthonymcallister.com.
