Dr. Logan founded The Monroe School in March of 2006 and opened in September of 2006 in the Northeast quadrant of the District of Columbia. As a non-profit school, The Monroe School received its 501 (c) (3) status in 2014. In March of 2007, Dr. Logan founded The Maya Foundation Inc, (Metropolitan Alliance for Youth Advancement Foundation, Inc) a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization to assist students with academic scholarships, to participate in various school-based activities, sponsor annual college tours, and to provide financial assistance to those students desiring to attend college.
